Introduction
some text here. people who feel tempted to join the radqueer community, or have left it, often feel alienated and alone. simply leaving the community doesn't solve the underlying problems, and a very common underlying problem is atypical dysphoria.
expanded atypical dysphoria definition here. and then a transtionary sentence that's like basically there are lots of terms not associated with the rq community, so here's our attempt at listing them. Also note: this page will repeat some info that's on the glossary page and I am perfectly fine with that.
General Terms
Because of the misinformation that the radqueer community spreads, some radqueers aren't even familiar with the causes behind the terms they use. Atypical dysphoria is generally attributed to this.
- Dysfirming: Coming from a mixture of the words dysphoria and affirming, it is a term that means to be coping with ones atypical dysphoria in a safe way and is made to be an alternative term to transitioning specifically for those who are desirdae, dissomei, and similar. Examples: "I am dysfirming to relieve my dysphoria," "I am dysfirming my identity." Someone who is dysfirming would be considered a dysfirmer. It can be used in a similar format to the word transition or the word affirming.[x]
- Atypical dysphoria: A term that refers to someone who has uncommon, unusual, or strange dysphorias. This can be things like BIID/BID, species dysphoria, age dysphoria, xenic dysphoria, etc. These dysphorias are involuntary and can be very troubling to those who may struggle with it. Some may experience these dysphorias due to trauma, delusions, neurodiversity, being a headmate in a system, alterhuman (and it’s subtypes), an age regressor, chronosian, etc.[x]
General Terms
unsurprisingly, some radqueers don't even know that it's atypical dysphoria driving them to want XYZ.

Examples: "I am dysfirming to relieve my dysphoria", "I am dysfirming by tanning my skin." Someone who is dysfirming would be considered a dysfirmer. Identification as/with, desire for, or internally are
- Ahuman: A form of nonhumanity where an individual does not connect to humanity/being human in any way. Oftentimes they're uncomfortable with being referred to as or grouped in with humans/humanity as a whole.[x]
- Aldernic: An umbrella term for people who have, or wish to have, a body that deviates from what is expected in society, or typical human notions in general. Generally, it will define people who do not feel as though they fit into a “male” or “female” body, and instead desire an ambiguous, nonhuman, or other nontraditional body. It may refer to someone’s “true” body, whether because of alterhumanity, gender nonconformity, xenic identity, or anything else. It can also define someone’s physical body, internal identity, or both. [x]
- Altbody: A term for those who identify as / with a body that is different from the one they currently have in a way that doesn't impact what type of body they want. This is meant to be both an umbrella term and an alternative to terms like transpecies, transracial, and transabled though it is not limited to them. It's purposely broad as it's meant to include a lot, though it specifically focuses on the body itself rather than its abilities. This can be considered a subterm to aldernic. [x]
- Archetrope: An identity based on an archetype, tropde or other role which is commonly present in literature and mythology. Examples of this include things like pirates, nobles, clowns, and rangers. This identity has a pervasive effect on the person who experiences it, and can be related to their personality, career, gender or personal values and beliefs. It is one example of an alterhuman identity which is not (necessarily) based in nonhumanity.[x] [+]
- Chronosian: An umbrella term for those who have a perceived age that differs from their body age. Chronosian is an umbrella term for those who perceive their age differently than what their body physically is, either all of of the time or periodically. This may include people who are neurodivergent in some sense, plural system members, age regressors, being trauma-stuck, and much more. It is generally synonymous with the term "chrono-peculiar." This may include those who are traumastuck (are unable to mentally move past a certain time period because of trauma), system members who are a different age from the body, and other experiences relating to having age incongruence.[x] The original coiner was always very open about not wanting this term to be considered transage, altage, or used for pedophilia[x], but in typical fashion many radqueers have tried to "reclaim" the term and categorize their other age labels the same as chronosian terms.
- Constelic/“ID hoarder”: An alterhuman term for someone who collects identities of animals, fictional characters, mythological beings, and otherwise. It is often done by choice, though it doesn’t necessarily need to be, and constelic identities can be dropped, hoarded, and have priority over others. Constelic identities are often casual, “in the background”, or not very intensive, though this may not always be the case. Furthermore, there may be specific tiers of how much someone relates to said identities.[x] [Alt flag] [+]
- Covetei: A term for those who do not agree with a harmful stance (blankqueers, contact stances, etc) but identify with it in some way. reasons for this may be that the user enjoys the aesthetics/outward appearance of the label but doesn't agree with it, the user enjoys fantasizing about being it in their head, but would never actually be it in real life, the user used to have that stance and still has the desire to go back, not because they still believe in it but because of the friends they had, how easy it was to be oblivious, the user has intrusive thoughts surrounding believing in those things and uses the label as a way to cope or reassure themself that they don't actually believe them, or any other reason! [x]
- Dissomei/Dissodic: A term to describe an involuntary disconnect one has have between their physical self and inner self, it is against transitioning if its unsafe or can harm other people. It was originally called a different name and was changed after the creator of the conlang it was based in was physically attacked by radqueers. [First coining post] [Second post by the term's new owner]
- Desirdae: A term simular in meaning to dissomei. It supports non-harmful transitioning and is inclusive to everyone with atypical dysphoria, trauma, self doubt, etc. an example of a desirdae term would be "Desirautism" which is a term for those that desire/yearn/want autism in some way. some examples of why would be: an autistic being feeling as if they are not "autistic enough" , Those who are trying to "reconnect" to their autism due to being forced to mask , Those with atypical dysphoria etc.[x]

- Fictionflicker:

- likeness: Likeness refers to being, well, like something. The term "share a likeness with x" is very common, so it goes off of that mentality. It ignores the general idea of identifying with or as, because i feel it sort of treads between the two. It is intrinsic, but not necessarily by birth; you can become what you share a likeness with, sometimes. It's usually something that just kinda happens without intent, but in some situations that could be different. Typically/generally involuntary, but wiggle room exists.[x]
- Moresever-: A term for those who have a disability or mental illness and wish their symptoms were less manageable, more noticeable or “more severe” mainly as a coping mechanism, other reasons can include not having one’s disability/mental illness being taken seriously due to stereotyping or wishing one’s disability was more noticeable so you can get the support you need.[x]
- Multiself: Multiself is an umbrella term for any singlet/singlet adjacent being that experiences multiple identities/selves. The term also applies to individual sysmates that share the experience, provided the sysmate/s in question identify as multiself independently from the rest of the collective. Multiself is inherently tied to transid, in the sense that selves have their own distinct sets of transids. Though notably, the amount in which the selves differentiate depends on the individual. On one end of the spectrum, one’s selves may be extremely different in name, appearance, age, race, gender etc.[x] This was coined by a radqueer, for radqueers, but is frequently "reclaimed" by anti-radqueers and there is a sizable community of non-radqueer users.
- Neurowiry: Neurowiry describes "non-official" neurotypes*. (Non-official meaning it is not in the DSM and it hasn’t been studied.) Wiretypes are broad categories that explain and inform a person’s psyche and development. They are expressed metaphorically through dynamics (predator/prey/lover/rebel/etc), things in nature (leaves/fog/beasts/planets/etc), forces (gravity/heat/etc) and so on. They encourage recognition and labeling of patterns within oneself. They are self-identities and not recommended for people under 16.[x]

- Occuden: An identity based on an occupation / job-like role, fictional or real. Examples include architects, scholars, scientists and marauders (c:aoa). this identity strongly influences the user and one's identification with the occupation may feel like a bigger part of one's identity than with the average experience someone with the occupation normally has. It is an alterhuman identity that isn't necessarily based in nonhumanity. [x]
- Ongietunem:
- Oherhearted:
- Otherkin:

- PermaID/permaid: A subset of transID/transid where you feel you are or should be permanently something. This includes both "cis" (for lack of a better term) permaids; i.e. already being permanently [x], and trans permaids; transitioning or desiring to be permanently [x], or internally being permanently [x] but not externally being permanently [x]. for example: permacollared, a term that describes permanently collared.[x]

- Seoracial: A term thats an alternative to "transracial" that doesnt have the connotations of supporting and encouraging the concept of "race transitioning" because of the "trans-" prefix. Its for those with atypical dysphoria or those with exomemories that cause them to have a different perceived race that doesnt line up with their physical race. The term supports doing non-harmful things to relieve dysphoria (ex. learning a new language, participating in open cultural practices, joining and practicing open religions, eating cultural food, etc), however it doesn't support lying about your physical race and acknowledges that it.s impossible to "transition to" a different race or ethnicity.[x]
- Therian:
- Transabled: Radqueers aggresively claim this is a transid/radqueer thing or that supporting this means you're radqueer, but neither of these are true and there's a small community of people who are anti-radqueer and transabled[x].
- Transage: Often used as an umbrella term for anyone who doesn't identify entirely with their chronological age. This didn't originate in the radqueer community, but radqueers frequently claim it did or that it's inherently a transid term. However, there is a community of anti-radqueer users. Age regressors, dreamers, and chronosian people may prefer the term. Can also apply to those who feel sort of “age stuck” due to trauma or neurodiversity.[x] [Anti radqueer transage flag]
- Transid/TransID: A framework of identity that includes not just gender, but traits and other aspects. While this was coined by a (then) radqueer and is very commonly used by radqueers, there is also a prominent community of non-radqueer and anti-radqueer transid users who prefer the term for different reasons. [Anti radqueer transid flag]
- Transspecies: A human is transitioning to another species, has always been an animal inside a human body, etc.[x] This didn't originate with radqueers/transid, although the radqueer community aggressively claims it did. It has a community of non radqueers using the term, but this has dwindled now that the term gets lumped in with radqueers.
- Vior: A class of terms for when one would describe one's behavior in relation to something. may be an alterhuman term, but doesn't have to be. this term falls under the LIOM umbrella. There's no limit to what a vior term can be related to. animals, objects, concepts, emotions, experiences, anything! In the simplest sense, it's xenogenders but for how you act.[x]
- Enviren: A label connected to appearance envy of any kind (gender envy, species envy, etc), without necessarily being a gender itself or connected to it at all. Can also be used for transition goals. Not under aldernic but it is aldernic in nature.[x]
Queerness
- Allion/Beyorientations: An umbrella term for all orientations that do not feel like they fit under the “normal” stardards or expectations of what orientations can be. they may use concepts like space or plants to explain it, but this isn’t always the case. Based off the concept of xenogenders.[x]
- Alteraffectis/Nonhuman Attraction: A tertiary attraction umbrella term that human souls simply arent supposed feel, or cant be explained within human terms, coined with alterbeings/alterhumans in mind.[x]
- Nichelink: A newly coined niche relationship/relationship dynamic that differs from social norms, but is consensual and aware of potential risks. A system for relationship dynamics that differ from the norm, are probably niche, are aware of potential risks, are consensual, and are newly coined.[x]

Paraphilias and Attraction
- Fluffypara: A paraphile that is pro recovery and anti contact harmful para. These paras also support education and consent in para, so people understand better how to help paraphiles around them. This is also against romanticization and normalization of para (normalization as in making the para acceptable, instead of getting help acceptable).[x]
- Paramenos/Para-dependent/Para-intertwined: A term for when one's identity is dependent on a paraphilia to the point you cannot separate the two. This can be due to comforts or other conditions impacting this dependency between one's paraphilias and one's identity, but trying to separate one from the other is detrimental to both. This connection can even spread to other parts of one's identity. [x]
- Paraphikitós/Para-Affective:Paraphikitós, which can also be called para-affective, is a term for when one's identity is impacted by their paraphilia. This can mean it's one's orientation, gender, presentation, alterhumanity, or many other parts to one's identity. Example; One's necrophilia may impact or be connected to their kin, or alterhumanity.[x]
- Sunset Paraphile: A paraphile who's stances are the following: Pro recovery (not believing that going to therapy is conversion therapy or desiring a change in said therapy, being an anti radqueer paraphile), anti contact when it comes to dangerous paraphilias; There are lines and overlaps between paraphilias, paraphilic disorders (PaDs) and different presentations of OCD - those lines and overlaps should NOT be blurred. This means understanding that the shame or guilt felt there exists for a reason, or that someone may confuse arousal for another emotion or experience; Kinks and fetishes are considered paraphilias, but are more accepted due to the separation and lack of knowledge as to what a paraphilia is. Understanding that attraction is not action, whilst being aware anyone who says that it's okay to act on attraction is an offender, or that not all offenders had been a pedophile (let's ask this simple question, for example. Why do groomers tend to be folks online or family members? They don't like the child - but like how easy it is to exploit said child.) [Original coining post] [Second coining post]

- Amasui:Amasui, a term that can be used to mean loving other versions of oneself. Created to replace the term “Selfcest.” This is not the same as Autosexual, as it is not a sexuality. The flag is mostly for fun; as this is not actually an Identity. [x]
