Radqueer

Definition

Radqueer (short for radical queer) is a fringe identity movement that promotes and supports a variety of controversial and harmful ideologies, including the normalization of all paraphilias, the belief in transitioning to another race or disability ("transracial" and "transabled"), and the trivialization of addiction and mental health conditions. Radqueers also advocate for identities based on harmful behaviors and concepts, such as "transpedophile," "transcannibal," and "transgroomed," which have been widely criticized for encouraging abuse and appropriation of marginalized identities. They are considered dangerous because they spread misinformation, trivialize genuine identities, and can foster harmful environments.

Beliefs

The radqueer community at large has grown away from some of the original aspects seen in the coining post, such as the abandonment of mental illness labels - the majority of radqueers are mentally ill, the community coins transmentallyill terms, and coins medically unrecognized disorders.

Radqueers commonly use emoji codes to list their identities in a subtle way and avoid being banned. the strawberry emoji (🍓) and the rainbow emoji (🌈) are the most common code for radqueers. It may be displayed as 🌈🍓 or 🍓🌈.

Xenosatanist

Xenosatanism is an offshoot of the radqueer ideology that, alongside radqueer beliefs, is for public sex and pornography, abolishing the age of consent, and the legalization of CSEM/CSAM, incest, beastiality, sexual assault, and cannibalism.

TransID/Transx

Transidentities (sometimes shortened to "transIDs") are a core part of the radqueer ideology, and refers to any trans- label that isn't transgender or transsex.[5] While some transidentities may be harmless, such as transspecies, which originated in the alterhuman community long before radqueers, many are not. An example would be "transracial", which promotes things such as blackface and yellowface, as well as the racist and transphobic idea that one can transition in race as one can in gender or sex. The term transx is used within the transid community, however, the term was originally coined in transmedicalist spaces, such as Reddit, to encompass experiences such as duosex and nullsex.

Radqueer posts and resources often promote damaging ideologies, including advocating for physical self-harm to attain a disabled identity, encouraging behaviors linked to self-harm and suicide, and endorsing actions such as blackface, which are deeply offensive and harmful to marginalized communities.

The coiner of the terms radqueer and xenosatanist openly said that they considered s ex with an infant to be okay and queer by definition, and this sort of attitude has been present in the radqueer community from the beginning.

Minors exist in the radqueer community in direct proximity to these terms and flags, which is dangerous.

Cheese pizza section goes here. Some radqueers (and blankqueer terms) are outright pro C SAM. They may claim they're fine with it as long as it was made "without abuse," which ignores the fact that the creation of the material is inherently traumatizing and abusive.

Transphobia

The support of transID labels itself is transphobic as it trivalizes transgender terms and words. Specifically, one phrasing radqueers frequently use is that someone who is "transharmful" isn't actually their transharmful identity, but just feels like they should be. This phrasing inadvertently implies that a trans woman isn't actually a woman, but just feels like they should be. This phrasing has also been criticized heavily and seen as a cop-out to identify with something harmful while the radqueer claims they aren't actually that thing.

Radqueers also ignore the actual development and history of the word "transgender" and frequently claim that transgender is a transID by definition, which they may do simply because the words share a root prefix.

"Transna zi" is a common radqueer identity, which may be phrased as "feels as if they should be a Nazi, but isn't" or "someone who wishes to be a N azi". Radqueers also sometimes appropriate Jewish culture and identity through terms like "transJewish" or "transHebrew," erasing the significance of real Jewish experiences and contributing to cultural erasure and discrimination.

Racism and Cultural Appropriation

Radqueers endorse identities like "transblack" or "transnative," appropriating racial identities and reducing them to mere labels, which diminishes the lived experiences and struggles of people of color.

Harrassment and Breaking Boundaries

While some radqueers may be strictly against harassment and may call themselves "anti harassment," others go out of their way to harass anti radqueers. Some examples include:

Animal abuse

Some radqueer content has been linked to the promotion of abuse or exploitation of animals, either through harmful identities or by endorsing predatory behaviors involving animals.

Encouraging violence

While once fringe, radqueer flags (and blankqueer terms) that openly say they are pro stalking, doxxing, physical assault, or even murder have been posted and are gaining more acceptance in the community.

Anti recovery

Many radqueers operate from a stance of "anti recovery," which may be sourced from a reasonable place that is hurt from being made to feel like they must be "fixed" because of their paraphilias or other conditions. However, many radqueers openly advocate against any sort of recovery for anything at all, coin terms and make flags for getting worse, and recovery has been compared to conversion therapy.

• The term was first created by Tumblr user foucault-divine-mephisto on November 14th, 2021.[3] It considered the LGBTQ+ community to be too puritan and unaccepting of paraphiles and transidentities. When it was discovered that the original creator was pro-contact for harmful paraphilias, the term was recoined by Tumblr user equiradqueer on May 15th, 2022 with the same definition.[4] The term was based in radinclus, a branch of inclusionism, however they are difference communities.
